Bill entered the insurance business with his father after graduating from Hobart College. A native of Erie, he has received the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and holds a Graduate Degree Certificate in Financial Counseling.

He is a member of the National, Pennsylvania, and Erie Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is also a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Bill is past President of the Estate Planning Council of Erie, Northwestern Pennsylvania Society of Financial Service Professionals and of the Erie Rotary. He has served on the Boards of Hamot Hospital and Erie Cemetery.
