John joined Lillis, McKibben & Co. in September of 1987 and became a Partner in 2006. He obtained his B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College in 1987. He has earned the following professional designations:

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
• Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
• Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
• Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP)

John is a member of Finesca and a past President of the Erie Society of Financial Service Professionals and a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. John is a qualifying life member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2005 – MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the financial services industry.

John is the current Board Chair of WQLN and serves on the Board of the expERIEnce Children's Museum and Resource Development Committee of the United Way.
